Although PragerU is predominantly a digital media non-profit, every year it produces several mailer boxes as part of several donor gratitude programs.
The following designs are boxes that I created for these programs in 2024. Both designs are for the Roll End Front Tuck with Dust Flaps box model by Fantastapack.
My team had established a visual direction for the PragerU mailer boxes in 2018 which we had adapted each quarter for several years.
With the 2024 boxes we decided that a visual refresh was needed, while retaining some of the maxed-out text styling and the "Think Better, Live Better" slogan around the box edges. I decided to introduce more subtle patterns and gradients. In addition, to support more exciting gift revelations, I moved the brighter colors to the interior of the box.
This design has been adapted to other mailer boxes as the new PragerU default, with the exception of some specific designs like the 2024 Q2 box shown below.
The quarter 2 box was specifically designed to compliment a limited-run America is the GOAT tumbler. Due to the longer unique dimensions and the product inside, I wanted to give this box a more custom look than usual. I took inspiration from Vans and skate graphics that I grew up with in Huntington Beach, which I thought would fit well with more sporty tumbler.
