Celebrate America: Race To The White House Boardgame

Client:

PragerU

Brief:

Around midyear 2025, the PragerU leadership became concerned about the lack of pro-American educational family activities and decided that a board game would be a great way to fill that need.

The project took about 6 months, and involved several designers under my directioncreating artwork for every aspect of the game, as well as marketing collateral.

This was a unique project for our team as it totally deviated from our bread-and-butter digital media output. We worked with a third party vendor to ensure that the game materials were 100% made in America, as well as several rounds of prototyping & proofing to execute this project.

The game sold several thousand units in the first 3 days after production.

The team at work

One of the largest efforts undertaken for this project was creating and proofing nearly 200 game cards. Everycard features an original image and two trivia questions. One question is for adults while the other is for kids. In addition, they were divided into six catagories: Society, History, Citizenship, States, Presidents, and Innovation.

I designed the initial templates for the cards, and several designers then worked to create the images and prep each individual card design.

Here some of us are checking the proofs for the cards sent to our team by Delano Games:
