Hot take here. Soccer would be a lot more fun to watch, and frankly better, if there was a wall around the field. Here's the problem: Whenever anyone makes a break-away and is close to scoring a goal , all the defenders do is run up and kick the ball out of bounds. Then everyone from the defending team gets to come get in position to defend when the ball is back in play. It makes no sense because it basically rewards the defense for a foul play. Basically there needs to be a wall to keep the ball in play, just like in hockey, and that would give the game a lot more integrity.
